Aside from this, Super Head, as she is also known, has appeared in movies and music videos. She has also been involved in modeling. In a recent twist, she changed her name to Elisabeth Ovesen leading to more curiosity about who she is.

Karrine Steffans Had a Troubled Childhood Filled With Abuse

She was born on August 24, 1978, in Saint Thomas, U.S Virgin Islands. Her family moved to Florida when she turned 10, thus marking a new phase of her life. Despite this, it did not take away the poverty of her family and the abuses that her parents subjected her to. Her mother was an alcoholic while her father was indifferent.

Unfortunately for Karrine, the abuse led to her being raped for three days by an unnamed man at the age of 13. Subsequently, these experiences made her leave home at the age of 16 but they changed her views in later life. After leaving home, she worked as an exotic dancer to support herself.

In the line of her work, she met and started living with the rapper Nathaniel Wilson also known by the stage name, Kool G Rap. They had a son, Naim Wilson when she was just 17 years old. She stayed with Wilson for five years before leaving him due to domestic abuse.

She struggled to raise her son while attending college at the University of Arizona. Karrine graduated with a degree in English and Creative Writing in 2000.

She Had Controversial Relationships with Rappers

Over the years, Karrine’s intimate relationships with some of the biggest names in the music industry have made her the center of media discussions and speculations. She was linked to rappers such as Jay-Z, Dr. Dre, Lil Wayne, Usher, P Diddy, Ja Rule, Chris Brown and Mystikal, and more.
