Nikko Jenkins is an American criminal that is closely linked with the series of spree killings of four individuals within the space of two weeks in Omaha, Nebraska after being released from prison. He is known for his weird assertions of not being crazy despite his court antics that seemed crazy during his trial.

Biography of Nikko Jenkins

Nikko Allen Jenkins was born on 16 September 1986 in  Colorado to David A. Magee and Lori Jenkins who were known as notorious criminals. He and his sisters, Erika and Melonie Jenkins grew up in Omaha, Nebraska with a childhood filled with crimes.

His family history is filled with crimes with a recorded 38 members of his family having been convicted before

He grew up to be highly unstable and associated with crimes even before the murder charges.

Who Is His Wife

On the 6th of February 2010, Nikko Jenkins and Chalonda got married at the Tecumseh State Prison and finalized their divorce on August 7, 2017.

They experienced only four weeks as a couple outside prison. There are no records of them having any children together.

What Crimes Did He Commit

Nikko Jenkins first showed criminal tendencies at the age of 7 when he took a gun to school. despite not harming anyone, it was a red flag.

He was first sentenced to prison after a carjacking case at the age of 15, he served 10 and a half years out of his 21 years sentence.

Shortly after coming out of prison, he was involved in a series of spree killings within the interval of two weeks. on the 13th of August 2013, he lured two men, Julian Uribe Pena and Jorge C. Cariga-Ruiz with the guise of having intimate relations with two women only to shoot them.

On August 17th, the body of Curtis Bradford was found and investigation led to his association with Nikko Jenkins from his time in prison. He had earlier on posed in a Facebook photo with Nikko Jenkins.

His final victim, Andrea Kruger body was found by the road with multiple gunshot wounds.

He was pinned with a terrorist threatening charge and mounting evidence of his involvement in all the murders. Nikko Jenkins confessed to all murders in an 8-hour grueling interview.

1.Got Imprisoned At Age 15

His first incarceration was at the age of fifteen for carjacking and assault. After serving 10 and half years, he was released but went on to cut short the lives of four people of whom he was familiar with only one,  Curtis Bradford whom he knew from prison.

For four counts of murder, he was sentenced to death four times in addition to 500 years for the counts of his other offenses.

2.Nikko Jenkins Blamed Apophis For His Crimes

He has always held that he committed crimes under the direction of Apophis and has confessed in a handwritten letter that he would protect  Apophis kingdom with ‘animalistic savage brutality.

Not stopping there he has always tried to alter his looks to look like a snake, the form of Apophis.

3.Body Alterations In Honor Of Apophis Gone Wrong

In 2015, he tried mutilating his penis to look like Apophis but it went wrong as he could not get it right. It never stopped him from altering other parts of his body in honor of the ancient god.

He also tried to carve out the number 666 on his forehead but forgot he was looking into the mirror, he ended up carving 999 instead.

Slicing his tongue to look like a serpent was another futile attempt on his part as he ended up splashing blood on his overall and on the walls.

He has Headaches caused by torments from the gods that can only be relieved if he kills and that is why he committed those crimes.

4.Dawn Arguello Falls in Love With Him

Dawn Arguello met Nikko Jenkins in the course of her work with a prison inmate advocacy group, while at it she fell in love with him not minding his status as an inmate incarcerated for s spree of murders.

She is undaunted with charges against him as she sees him as an adorable, enigmatic, and manipulative person based on an interview with Omaha World Herald. She was only surprised when he tattooed her name on his face.

5.Filed A Lawsuit Against The State Of Nebraska For Releasing Him From Prison

Nikko Jenkins has blamed the state for releasing him from prison and committing the crimes. In a lawsuit against the state of Nebraska, he filed for $24.5 million for wrongful release despite his alarming them of hearing Apophis’s voice.

He further went on to link this to his schizophrenic condition that was heightened by being confined in solitary while in prison.

Nikko Jenkins was found competent to stand trial and was suspected of lying about his mental health to evade being sentenced.

6.He Suffers From Anti Social Disorder

After being sentenced, his psychiatric evaluation was agreed to be done at the Lincoln prison since officials refused to do it at the regional center for security reasons.

The psychiatric evaluation concluded he had an anti-social disorder and maybe faking schizophrenia.

7.Nikko Jenkins Family Goes Down

Investigations later pointed to the involvement of other members of his family in the murders. Erica Jenkins and his cousin Christine Bordeaux were involved in the first two killings and got sentences. Christine testified against them and got a lighter sentence, while Erica is serving life in prison for murder.

His ex-wife, Chalonda is presently being incarcerated for other offenses while his uncle Warren levering was released from prison despite being an accomplice in the crimes. Lori Jenkins’s sentence has been added 6-7 years imprisonment.

His father passed away in 2009.

When Will He Be Killed

In 2017 he was sentenced to die by a three-panel judge while the US supreme court refused his appeal in 2020. It is not known exactly when he will be killed but he is still serving his sentence in prison and is one of the prisoners on death row in the state of Nebraska.
