Born Condola Phylea Rasad on December 11, 1986, in New York, the 37-year-old is the daughter of American actress Phylicia Rashad and former football player Ahmad Rashad. She was named after her paternal grandmother, Condola Moore and was born 3 days away from her parent’s first wedding anniversary.
Rashad has kept a large part of her growing up and life before fame under wraps and this include her educational background. Nonetheless, she attended the California Institute of the Arts where she studied acting.
2. Her Parents Had Both Been Married 2 Times Before Her Birth
Her mother who is a Hollywood star had been married 2 different times and was known as Phylicia Ayers-Allen before she met and married Ahmad Rashad who had also been married and divorced twice.
The marriage between her parents which was the third for both of them lasted for almost 16 years before it ended in divorce in 2001 when Condola Rashad was almost 15 years old.

6. She Auditioned For Her Role in Billions on Her 28 Birthday
In 2014 on her 28th birthday, she auditioned for the role of Kate Sacker in Billions. According to her, she gained more confidence for the audition because it was her birthday.
7. Condola Rashad is the Youngest Actress To Have 4 Tony Award Nominations
At the age of 32 in 2012, Rashad got her first Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play (Stick Fly).
