Michi Nogami is the wife of a former American football wide receiver who is presently a sports television personality, Brandon Marshall.
Brandon played a total of 13 seasons in the NFL and currently co-hosts a sports show called ‘Inside the NFL’ on Showtime.
His wife Michi Nogami shot to spotlight after her marriage to Brandon for the not-so-good news. However, she is now a successful businesswoman.

Michi Leshase Nogami-Marshall was born on the 30th of November 1983. She met Brandon Marshall while still in the University. They both attended the same University; that is the University of Central Florida.
She was an active student in the University as she was part of the student union. Her husband was also actively involved in sports while at the University.

1. How Michi Nogami Met Her Husband
As already stated the couple attended the same University and that was where they met and started dating. They got engaged in 2009 after Brandon proposed to her while on a trip to Hawaii for the 2009 Pro Bowl.
By the 17th of July 2010, the couple tied the knot in a ceremony that took place at Art Deco Paris Theatre in Miami, Florida. This seal began the story of their rollercoaster marriage.
2. She Has Three Kids With Brandon Marshall
Michi and Brandon have three kids together. In 2015, the couple welcomed their first pair of offspring; twins, and years later, in April 2019, they had their third child.
The couple is proud and happy parents of all three kids.
3. She Worked As A Forensic Specialist
After her marriage to Brandon and birthing his kids, Michi decided to quit her profession to be a stay-home mum. However, prior to this, she used to work as a Forensic Behavioral Specialist.
Although she quit her career, she picked up an interest which she is duly following up and is running quite successfully.
4. She Was Arrested For Domestic Violence
Michi’s arrest was facilitated by an incident that occurred in 2011 where she was accused of stabbing her husband in the stomach. This act occurred albeit being given a restraining order by the court. Michi was ordered to stay 500 feet away from their home and Brandon.
The couple had been in the news barely 2 years before this incident and Brandon was arrested for engaging in a physical fight with her while she was still engaged to him.
He was released the next day on bail after the charges leveled against him were dropped.
However, after spending a day in jail, Michi was released on bond and her husband recovered after minor surgery and a few days.
5. Her Husband Has Been Arrested Countless Times
The list of Brandon Marshall’s misdemeanors is quite a long one. It ranges from legal offenses to domestic violence and ‘what not’.
Beginning the thread of Brandon’s acts that got him on the other side of the law is Halloween of 2004. Brandon was still a student then but got arrested for assaulting an enforcement officer. Also part of his offenses were; refusing to obey, disorderly act, and resisting an officer.
On the 26th of March 2007, he found himself charged with domestic violence by his then-girlfriend, Rasheeda Watley. In fact, Rasheeda reported Brandon several times for being domestically violent. From 2006 to 2008, Brandon had been accused of domestic violence 6 times.
The couple was discovered with bruises on their bodies by the Police a lot of times during the course of their relationship.
October 22nd of the same year, Brandon was arrested for driving under the influence in Denver-Aurora metropolitan area.
12th June 2008, he was issued a ticket for an illegal lane change, driving without a license, and proof of insurance.
On September 17th, 2008, he was charged for a battery for an incident that happened early in the year in Atlanta, Georgia.
And then on the 11th of March 2012, he was accused of hitting a woman in the face at a club in New York as well as being involved in a melee.

6. Michi’s Husband, Brandon Has Borderline Personality Disorder
On the 31st of July 2011, Brandon Marshall stated that he had just been diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder. He announced that he had started treatment and that he wishes to use his status to spread awareness about the disease. He stated that he intended to help people living with similar situations get through it.
Brandon went as far as partnering with foundations and bodies in order to help create awareness and reduce the stigma of the disease. He also aims at encouraging those living with it to take proper care.
He launched a campaign titled ‘Who Can Relate’ which is a national awareness campaign for mental illness.
This diagnosis has been given as a possible excuse for Brandon’s violence over the years although a look into his biography shows that he grew up in a violent family where he watched his parents domestically abuse themselves.
7. She Loves Fashion
Apart from being a forensic behavioral specialist and helping people who have and live with psychological issues get better, 41 year old Michi is also a doting wife and mother who loves fashion.
In addition to this, she loves fashion as seen by her posts on her social media handles. She is involved in fashion shows including runway walks and also loves to model beautiful clothes by top brands. She runs a clothing line called ‘House of Athletes’.

Adding to her list of interests is philanthropy. Michi has partnered with her husband, other corporate bodies, and foundations to help people who need help. She is fully involved in her husband’s awareness program and tries to help reduce the pain and stigma people going through some sort of mental illness or another go through.
She is a willing and happy philanthropist and totally buys into the idea of helping people lead and live better lives.
