Early Life and Music Backgroud of Yoskar Sarante
Yoskar Sarante was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic to his parents Domingo and Ramona Sarante Ventura. He is the second born of his siblings but became the only musician in his family due to his passion and his father’s influence.
According to the late singer, he and his father used to make money by singing in parks and public squares. He said his father used to play the guitar for him while he sang and this earned them a fortune.
As the years went by, Sarante considered singing more professionally and took a bold step of engaging ‘Merengue’; a type of music and dance originating in the Dominican Republic which has become a very popular genre throughout Latin America.
Yoksar did not only become successful at Merengue but also joined the international Grupo Melao, a Merengue band in the Dominican Republic. He also took part in many competitions as a child, notably highlighting the ‘Mundo Infantil’.

Yoskar Sarante Died of Pneumonia
Sarante’s life was cut short after battling Pneumonia for an unspecified period of time. The singer gave up due to pulmonary fibrosis in Orlando, Florida, U.S. It was said that at the time of his death, Yoskar was surrounded by his loved ones.
