After Takari made ill remarks about her relationship with her mother on the internet, her mother Christie went on air to claim that Takari was suffering from depression.
According to Jackie, it was at the time that Takari was pt in private schools but started acting out. They then sent her to a public school but after trying many things, she was diagnosed with bipolar.
The allegation did not sit down well with Lee so she headed to her social media page to show her disappointment in how her mother would allegedly create stories about her mental state on TV. Takara will go on to state that her mother fabricated the story just because she couldn’t own up to it.

The public barely knew about Takari Lee until 2016 when she went online to start a GoFund Me page to raise money for her son, Jaxton who had an accident at his daycare and got burnt.
Although the GoFundMe page did not in any way mention the name of Jackie, it did not stop the media from attacking Jackie and calling her a bad person for neglecting her first child.
In a later disclosure, Lee had opened up that her mother had her 6 years prior to her meeting and getting married to Doug Christie. However, their relationship had not been so much of a good one after she was born.
This would lead to being raised by her maternal grandmother in Tacoma, Washington. Even though her mother would come to visit sometimes, they still couldn’t find a way to mend their relationship.

At a point, Takari Lee posted Chantel on social media on her birthday. Chantel saw it in a completely different way and wondered why Takari did not call or text her but went to post a photo of her. She would go on to add that she didn’t want to be part of her drama.
