Sophie Rammal Alakija who is well known as Sophie Alakija was born on February 8, 1993, in Lagos state Nigeria. She is of Lebanese and Efik descent but her nationality is Nigerian.

Her eldest sister became famous after dealing with the news of alleged adultery and being the baby mama of controversial actor and politician Desmond Elliot.
