Sarah Ikumu is a British singer who gained fame after she appeared on Britain’s Got Talent reality TV show where she was declared to be the best singer the show had ever seen by head judge, Simon Cowell. Even with the high expectations that were placed on her, she did not make it beyond the semi-finals of the competition. Who is Sarah Ikumu?
It was in Milton Keynes, England that Sarah Ikum was born to parents who were originally from Kenya on March 23, 2001. She was also brought up in the United Kingdom where her father has a church. Like many others who became famous in the music business, Sarah has always had a passion for singing since she was a little girl.
Seeing her overwhelming talent, Sarah Got the encouragement of her parents to sing in the choir at the very tender age of 5. By the time she was 14, Sarah had already started recording covers of songs in studios and sharing them on YouTube.
As regards her education, she attended Hazel Academy where she won the talent competition, “H-Factor”. She also had her General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) in the UK

When she was still much younger, Sarah and her parents relocated to Kenya where she spent more than a couple of years before they returned to the UK.
