Rebecca is also the daughter of a renowned American actor, Herbert Jefferson Jr., who has been active as an actor from 1969 to date. Battlestar Galactica actor, Herbert Jefferson Jr. is the father of Lance Gross’ wife, Rebecca. She was born in Los Angeles on July 16, 1985, and grew up there. Rebecca attended Loyola Marymount University after her high school education where she studied and graduated with a degree in Psychology.
Upon her graduation from the university, Gross’ wife began a job as a Behavior Therapist and specialized in recently diagnosed autistic children. This job did not last long as she soon realized she had interests in other things.

How Rebecca Jefferson met her Husband
Rebecca and Lance met way back in the early 2010s in Santa Monica. According to the actor, their paths crossed several times on the same day and he thought it was more than a coincidence. He eventually asked her out and she agreed to go to dinner with him.
Now, Herbert’s daughter is Gross’ best friend and partner in crime, according to him. It was easy to click and relate with her as she matched his energy.
Fast forward to 2014, the Our Family Wedding actor proposed to Rebecca who had become his girlfriend after their aforementioned date. The news of their engagement came shortly after Jefferson’s 29th birthday which they celebrated while vacationing in China. In the n*de photo of her posted by her now-husband, a diamond ring was seen on her finger. This was the confirmation of her engagement with the actor.
Prior to their meeting and eventual love story, Jefferson’s then-fiancée was engaged to another woman. Lance Gross was in a relationship with fellow actor, Eva Marcille and even got engaged to her on December 24, 2008. They never got to tie the knot and 2 years after the engagement, in March 2010, the relationship ended and they went their separate ways.

Her First Daughter was born before they Got Married
The photo of Jefferson which Lance posted on his social media a day after her birthday was also a pregnancy reveal photo. In the photo, the former therapist was rocking a huge baby bump and her fiancé sang praises of her.
According to Essence magazine, Gross asked Rebecca to marry him on New Year’s Day in 2014. They however kept it low-key till the July post.
The post made in July 2014 preceded their May 23, 2015 wedding that happened in Beverly Hills, outside of Los Angeles. The ceremony was an outdoor event but quite intimate and had only friends and close family in attendance.
In retrospect, the couple had their first child about 6 months before they got married.
Jefferson and Lance’s first child was born on November 20, 2014. Their daughter was named Berkeley Brynn Gross and is currently 9 years old.
4 years later, Lance and Jefferson welcomed their second child together. On July 10, 2018, the Crisis star and his celebrity wife bore their son named Lennon Lorin Gross (6 years old).
The family of 4 enjoys a lot of time together and the parents do not let their careers come between them and family time. Actor Lance even confessed that he turned down a role outside of Los Angeles. The job was in Atlanta and if he had taken it, he would have missed the birth of his first child.
