The lineup of the 90s boyband did not include Kelton from the start. Its original lineup did not create the image the band needed to make it stand out. Since the boy band was not making the necessary hit needed to push it to the forefront of heartthrob bands, it became obvious that the band needed a shakeup.

Also, Half-Pints parents feared the worse for their son’s education if he was to be in a band as the boys were constantly traveling. They withdrew him and pushed him to get a real education.

His removal brought in Kelton and marked another phase for the future of the band. He replaced him and became LDB, Immature’s new drummer in 1994.

Immature has gone through periods of shakeups to make it stand out. The group is known for its style of dressing. The members are identified with their appearances. For Romeo, his unmistakable eye patch is not just for the act, there is a story about it that has added to his appeal. The incident that stands out that none of the band members had control over is how he got to start wearing the eyepatch.

Romeo’s eye patch wearing has become part of the band’s appearance. He did not intentionally decide to start wearing one. He was in a freak accident that involved Brandy, the singer. In their formative years as rising musicians, they all had collaborations with the music labels. In fact, Brandy used to be a background vocalist for the boy band. As is common with teenagers, a little ruffling is common.

Brandy and ‘Half Pint’ had an argument and she threw a book not knowing anyone was close by. It caught his retina and detached it. While he was trying to deal with the situation, Brandon Adams who happened to be close by caught the eye lens as it fell out.

He became blind in one eye and is often seen with his famous eye patch. Years later, Romeo maintains he has gone past it and is still friends with Brandy.

B2k first met in 1998 and had an initial lineup of Lil’ Fiz, J-Boog, and Ras B. It was during Marques Houston, one of IMx members’ birthday in 1999 that Omarion joined the band. They decided to change the band’s name to B2K, a short form for boys of the new Millenium.

The 43 year old actor is alive and kicking as no news about his death is known. Kelton revealed he is still single because he wants to find the right lady who will build with him before they start having children.

Kelton is investing his time promoting a cannabis business with the Ball family farms in Los Angeles.

His music and acting career have been slow over the years. Alongside other members of IMx, they released an EP album titled Forever in 2015. They changed the name of the group to the original Immature.
