She met her husband Juwan Howard at a party hosted by Alonzo Mourning and while dating, they had their first child who they named Jace. Few months later, on the 6^th of July 2002, they tied the knot.

Jenine helped her brother to start a healthy, organic diet and this helped him live months past the postulated time the doctors gave for him to live. Jenine’s brother lived for more than a year over the time the doctors gave.
