Destiny Etiko was born on August 12 1989 in Udi, located in Enugu State, Nigeria. She was raised together with her four siblings in the south-eastern part of Nigeria by their parents Mr. and Mrs. John Anonde Etiko.

She had both her primary and secondary school education in Enugu State. Etiko relocated to Anambra State to obtain her university degree at Nnamdi Azikwe University. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts and graduated in 2012.

Unfortunately, her father did not live long enough to enjoy the new house. Destiny Etiko lost her father on 15 May 2020 and he was laid to rest on 22 May 2020.
