12. Chioma Chukwuka Apotha
Chioma Chukwuka Akpotha is a Nollywood actress whose career in the industry has spanned about 23 years. Making her debut in the year 2000 in the film The Apple, she now has several movie credits to her name and even has awards such as the Afro Hollywood Award and African Movie Academy Award.
Chioma is a versatile actress whose roles in movies aren’t limited to just a particular character. She has played varying roles in movies such as 2005’s Sins of the Flesh, Games Men Play released in 2006, 2013’s On Bended Knees, and even 2018’s Wives on Strike.
Born on March 12, 1980, the actress has tried her hands at other aspects of her career. She is a director and producer and even produced the aforementioned ‘On Bended Knees’.

She was both an English and Yoruba actress who was active in Nollywood from 1966 to 2014. Her very first TV appearance was Village Headmaster and she soon appeared in the 1989-1991TV series Checkmate.
Ajayi was born and schooled in England and only returned to Nigeria in 1965.
Her filmography includes; Orere Laye, Iya Mi Tooto, A Brighter Sun, Women’s Cot, Diamond Ring, and in 2013, Mother of George.
