Although Daijah Wright rose to wild popularity on the heels of her father’s status in the American rap scene, she never met him in person. Considering the fact that her father, Eric Lynn Wright passed on in March 1995 after a brief illness, which obviously means Tomica Wright was pregnant with Daijah, who was born some months later.

2. Her First Song Was Released on YouTube

Daijah Wright was just sixteen when she put out her first official record on YouTube in 2011. Ever since then, she has gone on to release Apeshit and other ace records that have made music critics rank her as one of the up and coming rappers to look out for in the American rap industry.

Her father did not just leave his legacy as a legendary rapper, he was known for his promiscuous lifestyle with women. Eazy-E had a total of 11 children with 8 different women. Though of these eleven siblings, Dominick Wright is Daijah Wright’s only biological sibling.

The other kids include; Erin Bria Wright, Baby Eazy-E (E3), Eric Darnell Wright (Lil Eazy-E), Marquise Wright, Raven Wright, Elijah Wright, David Wright and two others not mentioned.

4. Her Father Was A Gangstar

Her father’s moniker was Eazy-E, but from all indications, he didn’t live an easy life. He was very controversial and had many fights with record labels, fellow Compton artistes, Ice Cube and Dr. Dre eh together, were defunct members of the N.W.A. In fact, he is publicly known as the godfather of gangsta rap.

5. Controversies Around Her Year of Birth

Some sources state that Daijah Wright was born in 1996, but there are several others that have clearly stated she was born six months after her father’s death. If her father died in March, six months after should be September 1995. Also, there are gaps and loopholes surrounding her official date and month of birth.

6. Controversies Around Her Father’s Death

When her father died on March 26, 1995, there were controversies surrounding his death. While it was reported that he was hospitalized and died of pneumonia, some other media sources reports confirmed he had been previously admitted on February 24, 1995, at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles with a violent cough, he was later diagnosed with HIV/AIDS and eventually died as a result of its complications in March the following month.

Even his daughter, Erin Wright launched a campaign in 2016 to raise money to investigate her father’s death, with the aim of telling his story through a movie title, Ruthless Scandal. Unfortunately, it proved unsuccessful by December that same year.

7. Her Parents Got Married Shortly Before Her Dad’s Death

Her parents, Eric Lynn Wright and Tomica Woods officially got married on March 14, 1995, 12 days before Eric Lynn’s death. Although Eazy-E and Tomica had been seeing each other long before they got married, they did not tie the knot till that March, when it became obvious she may lose him forever.

8. Her Siblings Are Into Entertainment

Daijah Wright is not the most popular of her siblings, but rather, Eric Darnell Wright alias Lil Eazy-E who is also a music artist. Her step-sister, Erin Brian Wright is a TV series actress and a singer, Baby Eazy-E who is also a music producer.
