Camaron Divine Engels was born on January 6, 1995, in Los Angeles, California, United States of America. From his social media post, he has a younger brother whom he has posted with his mother while they went on vacation to Jamaica.
Engels first became interested in acting after seeing the production of The Lion King with his grandmother when he was 10 years old. While watching, the young Camaron became excited as he saw a young black boy and he exclaimed that he could also act like the boy.
Soon after that experience, Engels began to earn knowledge on how to become an actor. He began to attend training at Lee Strasberg Young Actors Studio and from there, started attracting roles in both TV and Film productions.
2. He was more focused on Auditions During His Teenage Years
Engels spent most of his time auditioning for roles in TV and Films while he studied and tried to get more knowledge. He spent a great deal of time at Browns University and NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts where he focused on theatre programs.
While most of his friends and peers were having fun and enjoying their summer breaks, the Black-ish actor opted for more knowledge in his field of interest. As he trained and got better at acting, he auditioned and exposed himself more.
