She was born Brittany Nicole Carpentero on May 20, 1988, to Linda DeLoach and Federico Carpentero in Atlanta, Georgia. The 36-year-old is of Puerto Rican descent on her father’s side.
Her parents had it tough while building the family. One such tough instance is at the age of three when Diamond’s father was victimized by a drunk driver. The incident stuck in her mind despite her mother’s experience working at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
