Brian Dalyrimple is one-quarter of the 1992-formed R&B/Soul music group known as Soul 4 Real. He is a vocalist with the band that consists of the Dalyrimple brothers whose united love for music produced the group.

1. He Started Singing in the Choir
Brian was born in Wyandanch, New York on December 14, 1975. He grew up with his parents and siblings in Wyandanch until he and his brothers became independent and moved to Atlanta to pursue their careers.
While growing up, Brian and his brothers found themselves drawn toward music. They soon joined their local church’s choir where they got to horn their musical skills. By the time they came of age, they had put in enough work and time into being better singers and were ready to show the world what they had in store.
2. He is the Co-founder of Real 4 Soul
Soul 4 Real was founded by the Dalyrimple brothers in 1992. The band is made up of 4 members and so it has been since its inception. The brothers are 53 year old Christopher Sherman also known as ‘Choc’ who was born on April 30, 1971.
The second oldest Dalyrimple brother is 50 year old Andre Larmont also known as ‘Dre’, born on April 14. 1974. 48 year old Brian Augustus ‘Bri’ is the third and is followed by 44 year old Jase. Jase Oliver also known as Jase4Real was born on May 10, 1980.
The four brothers decided to start the group in 1992 and since then, they have been waxing strong. Soul 4 Real has released about 4 albums since its birth and still has a number of projects at hand.

3. In 2003, Brian and His Brothers Started a Record Label
Brian Dalyrimple’s band went through a couple of record labels and producers from their first album. The year the group was formed, they were signed to Uptown Records. With this record label, they were able to release their first album in 1995 titled Candy Rain.
After tours following the success of Candy Rain, the band members then began work for a second album. This album was titled For Life and it was produced by Sean Combs also known as P-Diddy. For Life album was released in 1996.
Under Heavy D, the band then signed to Heat Record Label but they faced one of their worse career downtimes at this point. Their move to Heat came after a failed deal with the distribution company Tommy Boy Music and they had to switch to Warlock Records and released their 1999 album.
With this setback, the Dalyrimple brothers then took to themselves. Soul 4 Real started their own record label and called it Aljoba Music Group. AMG was founded in 2003.
4. Soul 4 Real Made it to the Billboard Charts
Not once or twice but several times, songs by Brian and his brothers were so good that they charted on Billboard. From their first album, ‘Candy Rain’, their first single which is the title of the album, reached No. 1 on Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs.
‘Candy Rain’ single also made it to the second spot on the Hot 100 Chart. Another single on the album titled ‘Every Little Thing I Do’ made it to the 11th position on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs. It was also at No. 17 on the Hot 100 Chart.
Soul 4 Real had a third song from the album which peaked at No. 53 on the R&B charts. The title of the single is ‘If You Want It’.
From the group’s second album, they had songs like ‘Love You So’ peaking at No. 64 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs in 1997. The ‘For Life’ album itself even peaked at No. 29 on the Billboard R&B chart. It also made its way to the 119th position on the Billboard 200 chart.
5. Brian Dalyrimple is a Father
One-quarter member of the boy band ‘Soul 4 Real’ has been in a relationship for years now. From the relationship, he has been blessed with kids that he ever so often flaunts on his Instagram handles.
The name of his significant other isn’t quite known yet however, he has 5 boys and a girl. One of his kids is named Royal Sadrian Augustus Dalyrimple. He also has an older son named Prince LaBrian Augustus Dalyrimple.
Brian has three older sons who as of 2013 were in their teenage years. His daughter also looked grown up in the photo he shared of his kids together.

6. He was Indicted on 145 Counts of Fraud
One of the founding members of the 1992 Atlanta boy group, Brian Dalyrimple was indicted in 2009. His charges were 145 counts of aggravated identity fraud. The other members of the group were not found guilty of the crime or anything similar.
Dalyrimple was charged and held on no bond despite his pleas. He also protested his arrest saying that he was the victim of identity theft and not the other way around. However, there were proofs of incriminating pieces of evidence against him.
7. Has Brian Dalyrimple Left Soul 4 Real?
While he was arrested for identity theft, the band had to carry on without him. Soul 4 Real went on to continue projects as just three members and individuals. Jase, the youngest pursued a solo career and has released a couple of albums as a solo artist.
Jase also established his own music production company known as Jasemakermusic LLC. In addition to this, he started a record label known as BEA Music Ent.
Choc, born Christopher, the eldest also chased a solo career and released his debut album titled ‘Crazy’. His debut solo projects all fell through and this discouraged him. Chris then focused on his personal life but in 2017 attempted a comeback with ‘Want u2 Know’ and ‘American Girl’.
The third member of the group, Dre founded an independent production company. Uncle Dre Day Embroideries LLC is the name of the company. However, he remained in the music scene releasing solo music as he alter ego ‘Uncle Dre’. Dre now goes by the nickname ‘KD’.
Brian Dalyrimple did not leave the group though. When he got released, he went back as if nothing happened and they continued from where they stopped. As of 2022, the Soul 4 Real group planned a tour and has been living up to it. The group has resumed giving their fans the music they love.
In 2021, together, the R&B group released a song as a tribute to their late mother. The song titled ‘After The Rain’ was released on their father’s birthday.
In addition to the new pursuits the band is making, Brian started a restaurant in Atlanta. The name of the restaurant is Naomi Caribbean Cuisine. The owner of Naomi Caribbean Cuisine, Brian Dalyrimple stated that the restaurant offers Caribbean foods just as Chinese and Italian restaurants do.
