The Belly Movie Cast is a pool of top-notch seasoned actors and musicians that cut across different music genres like the late famous African American rapper DMX, Nas, and Method Man. Released in 1998, Belly is a crime fiction that was written and directed by Hype Williams, a music video producer, and director. 1. DMX (Tommy ‘Bunns’ Bundy)
Earl Simmons a.k.a DMX acted as Tommy ‘Bunns’ Bundy in the movie. He was born on the 18th day of December 1970 in the United States of America and died on the 9th of April 2021.
He was a renowned rapper and also an actor who played the lead role in the movie Belly where he was part of a syndicate that killed 5 people during a violent nightclub robbery. He was subsequently arrested and made to face a severe prison sentence except if he will be able to assassinate the head of a black Muslim group – an offer the cops made to him in exchange for his freedom.

Nasir bin Olu Dara Jones a.k.a Nas is a grammy award-winning rapper who acted as “Sincere” in Belly. He was born on the 14th day of September 1973 in New York City USA. The 51-year-old was part of Bundy’s gang in Belly and had a girlfriend by the name “Tionne”.
“Sincere” is a different kind of gangster in the movie who cared for his girlfriend and his infant daughter. He always thought about quitting the street life and settling for something noble. Sincere decided to read a book that will help him improve himself. This yielded much and he finally succeeds in changing his profession and escaping his criminal past at the end of the movie.
3. Sean Paul
Ryan Francis aka Sean Paul is a Jamaican dancehall rapper. He was born on the 9th of January 1973 in Kingston Jamaica. He featured as a party music artist in the movie who performed ‘Top Shotter’ a song he wrote alongside DMX and Mr. Vegas.
4. Taral Hicks (Keisha)
Also known as Keisha in Belly, Taral was born on the 21st of September 1974. She is an actress who came to the limelight after featuring in the movie. A Bronx Tale. She is also a singer who had her debut album in 1997 which peaked at number 4 on Billboard bubbling under hot 100 singles. She acted as Tommy’s girlfriend who suffered arrest by the police and was later released on bail in the movie.
5. Louie Rankin (Lennox)
Louie Rankin featured as Lennox aka Ox. According to his portrayal, he was a Jamaican drug dealer living in New York City.
Louie is originally a dancehall reggae artist who was born on the 30th of September 1953 in Jamaica and died on the 30th of September 2019 due to a car accident. His most successful and famous song is Typewriter which was released in 1992.
6. Method Man (Shameek)
Method man is a big name in America’s entertainment world. He was born on the 2nd of March 1971 in New York the United States of America and is famous for being a songwriter, rapper, actor, and producer. His real name is Clifford Smith Jr and he is featured as Shameek aka Father Sha in Belly.

7. Tyrin Turner (Big Head Rico)
Tyrin Turner is an American actor who was born on the 17 of July 1972 in Los Angelis. The American-born is famous for playing the lead role of Caine Lawson in the critically acclaimed 1993 Urban drama Menace ii society. He starred as Big Head Rico in Bella. He was an Omaha dealer in the movie who informed the cops of the activities of the drug gang which led to the raid of their stash house and the arrest of his colleagues.
8. Hassan Johnson (Mark)
Hassan Johnson was born on the 3rd of October 1977 in Brooklyn New York. He owns a production company that he named after his daughter ‘Autumn‘. Hassan is a professional model, film producer, and actor who has appeared in several movies including Brooklyn’s finest and the devil’s own.
He starred in Belly as Mark; a drug pusher and gangster that was killed by the police during a raid at the stash house. His gang members usually use his grandmother’s basement for meetings about their drug operations.
9. Oliver “Power” Grant
Oliver Grant is an American entrepreneur and a record executive who was born on the 23rd of November 1973 in New York City. He became famous as a clothing mogul in 1995 with the launching of Wu-Tang Clan.
His first appearance in a movie was in Belly where he featured as a gangster and Tommy’s associate who informed Tommy over the phone that Black had been talking about robbing Sincere to get his larger share of the loot from their initial nightclub raid.
10. Benjamin Chavis (Rev. Saviour)
Dr. Benjamin Franklin Chavis Jr. is not just Belly Movie Cast but is also an African-American civil rights leader and president of the National Newspaper Publishers Association. He was an assistant to Martin Luther King Jr., a renowned civil rights activist as well.
Benjamin was born on January 22 1948 in the United States of America. He had his education from St Augustine University of North Carolina Charlotte where he bagged his B.A. He later proceeded to Duke University for his MDiv and subsequently Howard University for his Doctorate degree in ministry.
Chavis is featured in Belly as Rev. Saviour, a pastor that was supposed to be killed by the notorious Bundy. Chavis was able to briefly preach to the gangster at the end of the movie and his message convicted Bundy instantly. This made Bendy surrender to the corps.
