Just as it is with Hollywood and other big movie industries around the world, Nollywood has a story of many amazing actors who married each other. From legendary stars such as Olu Jacobs and Joke Silva to the ever-bubbly Nobert and Gloria Young, some of these actors met their partners on movie sets or through industry connections, while others met far from the industry.

While some of these marriages ended in divorce, there are still many others that have survived and continued to thrive decades after the couples found themselves and dragged each other to the altar.

Here Are Some Popular Nollywood Actors Who Married Each Other

1. Olu Jacobs And Joke Silva

Olu Jacobs and Joke Silva have been married for over three decades. The couple married in 1985 after meeting for the first time at the National Theater in 1981, before Nigeria’s 21st Independence Day celebration. They share two children, Olusoji Jacobs and Gbenga Jacobs.

Their marriage is blessed with three children: two younger daughters and an older son named Lionel Chukwuemeka Orji. They are one of the most notoriously private couples in Nollywood.

4. Gloria And Nobert Young

8. Segun Ogungbe And Omowunmi Ajiboye

While most of the Nollywood actors married to other actors on the list are still together, Segun Ogungbe and Omowunmi Ajiboye have since separated.

While they were together, Omowunmi was referred to as the actor’s second wife after Atinuke Ogungbe. In 2024,
