Peeples graduated from Mount Clemens High School Michigan and later furthered her education at The Juilliard School. The actress is the first person from her hometown to graduate from the private performing arts conservatory school.

Erica Peeples found her passion for acting as a child. She soon joined a youth theater group called Mosaic before she got accepted to The Juilliard School.
