Tana Adelana whose birth name is Christiana Nkemdilim Adelana was born on December 24, 1984, in Lagos, Nigeria. She hails from a devoted Catholic royal family. Being the last in a family of 10, Tana Adelana grew up along with her siblings in Lagos.

In pursuit of her education, she attended the Treasure Land Nursery and Primary school, Surulere where she obtained her first school leaving certificate. However, following her catholic background, she later enrolled at St. Francis Catholic Secondary School in Idimu, Lagos state.

Even though she was born and bred in Lagos, Tana Adelana is a native of the Nara Unateze community in Nkanu East LGA of the Nigerian eastern state of Enugu State while her native name is Egbo.

The Actress Is Married and a Proud Mother of Two

The popular actress and TV hostess has been happily married for over 14 years now. She tied the knots with her heartthrob Femi Adelena, in September 2007. The award-winning actress is a proud alumnus of the Lagos State University, where she bagged her first degree in Urban and Regional Planning. Her passion for entertainment led her into taking a step further as she left the shores of the country to pursue a diploma in Makeup and style at the Makeup Art School London, though decided to opt for the South African campus of the institution.

Again, she later advanced to the Metropolitan School of Business and Management, in the UK where she obtained a special executive master’s certificate in Leadership and Management.

2. She First Came to the Limelight as an on-air Personality

Before she joined the MTN Y’Hello TV show auditioning, nobody knew who Tana Adalena was. She rose to fame as a TV presenter after becoming a contestant in the MTN Y’Hello TV Show in 2002.
