1. How old is she now?
Rashia Wilson was born in the 1980s to a father who was addicted to drugs and was later sent to prison. Her exact age has been a thing of controversy as different sources have reported differently from the time she became famous in 2012. At that time according to some records, the Tax Fraud Queen was between the ages of 27-29.
Amidst the controversy of her age, there is the certainty that she had a rough childhood. This is a result of the abject poverty faced by her family which led to her staying partly on the streets and taking rash decisions.
2. She Slept With Men For Money As a Young Teen
To put food on her table, Wilson at the age of about 12 to 13 started to sleep with men for money. This happens to be her lifestyle for a period of time until she found herself involved in criminal activities.
Nonetheless, her relationship with men grew over time and she became a woman popular among rappers, entertainers and athletes.

Wilson along the line became the mother of three children. According to her, she did not have a good life as a child and so she wanted her children to have a better one. It was as such that the Tax Fraud Queen spent $30,000 on her child’s first birthday party.
4. She Has Allegedly Been Arrested 40 Times
Apart from getting arrested for tax fraud, Rashia Wilson also had to go to court many times for different crimes that include grand theft and burglary. According to a report, Tax Fraud Queen was arrested 40 times.
However, it was the crime against the Federal Government through IRS that landed her a prison sentence for many years and gained her publicity. Her case in fraud became known when she posted and bragged about it on Facebook that she could not get caught. She however denied that she was responsible for making the post as the account was allegedly hacked.
After investigation and gathering evidence, she was arrested and was sent to court for stealing personal information from taxpayers and using it to file many fraudulent activities.
5. Rashia Wilson Received 21 Years Sentencing and Has Appealed
After pleading guilty in December 2012, she was then sentenced to 21 years (252 months) in prison in 2013 for her crimes. This includes 120 months in the Gun cases and 228 months to run concurrently, and theft and 18 months for a crime related to the possession of arms.
Along with the sentencing, Wilson was asked to pay restitution of more than $3 million.
Following the sentencing, her lawyer filed for appeal which ended that Judge James S. Moody in charge of the 21 years sentencing was noticed to have made procedural errors that increased the sentence. However, Judge Moody did not reduce the sentencing.
6. How many years does Rashia Wilson have left?
Her 21 years sentencing started in 2013 and will end in January 2031 as reports have it. This however may change if she appeals and gets a lesser sentence.
Going by the popular release of The Tax Fraud Queen, however, she will be out at the time that her last child will be 23.
7. Her Case Was The Beginning of a Petition and Campaign “Justice for Rashia Wilson”
The arrest, prosecution and sentencing of Wilson became a topic of social injustice among a number of people who believe that she did not get a fair judgement. The believers of this theory started a campaign dubbed “Justice for Rashia Williams” which also led to an online petition. The petition was started and made a reference to U.S District Judge Moody who sentenced her alongside 5 others that include:

The “Justice for Rashia Wilson” group believe that she is a black woman who is a victim of poverty and the U.S States Criminal Justice System. They further accused Judge Moody of coming out of his retirement with the aim of dishing Wilson the sentence she did not deserve and called it unlawful.
Bringing in her race into the matter, the group would go on to state that Wilson got her sentencing as part of the racial differences in federal criminal sentences.
The group further alleged that there justice system of America incarcerates African Americans more than 5 times the rates of Whites.

8. She Wrote a Book About Her Life
Rashia began to visit the library and started to work on herself academically in prison. She then was able to obtain a high school diploma. This is not the only achievement for her as she also turned to write her own book “The Life of a Hood Star: Trap Queen” where she told her life story.
9. Her Story Was Told in an American TV Series
In 2019, a TV series was released about the story of Rashia called American Gangster: Trap Queen. Her role was played by actress and model, Dannea Rhodes.
In addition, Mobb Ties: Mobb Talk is a short American documentary that Wilson appeared in. It is about the lives and times of many famous people alongside gangsters with criminal records.
10. Rashia Wilson Had a Career in Event Promoter Before Her Arrest

Upon her showing up in court to defend herself over charges against her that include fraud, Wilson made it open that the money she displayed through pictures on Facebook belongs to the owner of the Hush Gentleman’s Club where she was having a career.
In addition, she claimed to be an event promoter with a business known as First Lady Entertainment
