LaChina Robinson is a seasoned sports analyst who has been in the broadcasting business for more than a decade. She become known for her work on ESPN and Fox Sports1 among others where she calls college basketball games. The analyst was initially a basketball player during her high school days but since that did not work out for her, she decided not to stray too far from the sports, by becoming an analyst.

Biography of LaChina Robinson
It was on 25 October 1980 that LaChina Robinson was born to her parents Hillary Powell and Lynette Hart Robinson. Birthed in Alexandria, Virginia, it was also there that she was brought up by her mother together with her four siblings. That said, growing up was not easy for her as she was had a blended family with 16 kids.
Since she was a little girl, education was something that was emphasized by her mother who worked in banking and real estate. LaChina went to Alexandria City High School and from there, she got a scholarship to attend Wake Forest University. Thanks to her incredible height, Robinson who was initially a cheerleader, decided to switch to playing basketball. It was this sport that helped her to make it to Wake Forest where she got a Bachelor of Arts in sociology.
After she graduated, she decided that she would still stick around basketball even if not as a player. She got a job with Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), working in different administrative positions. Next, she moved to Georgia Tech where she was hired to assist the head coach. It was while there that she made a bold move by asking to be allowed to call a Georgia Tech women’s basketball game for a radio broadcast. This became the turning point for her ash she found what she wanted to spend the rest of her life doing.
By 2009, ESPN gave her a job, and then Fox Sports South also came for her.
LaChina Robinson Is Not Married
A very beautiful woman who is blessed with height and good looks, and with many achievements to her name, LaChina is still not married. Interestingly, she has continued to maintain a very private life so much that her love life has been hidden.
She once revealed that she crushed on American rapper, Jay Z for a very long time. She was left heartbroken when the rapper got married to Beyonce. Nonetheless, she came to accept the fact that she has lost him for good, and now she claims that she loves Beyonce even more than the rapper.

1. She has 15 siblings
As stated, the sports broadcaster was brought up in a very large family. She has a total of 15 siblings. She has 4 siblings and 11-half siblings from her father who got married to another woman.
2. Robinson is the only college graduate among her siblings
In spite of the fact that she was brought up alongside 15 siblings, LaChina Robinson is still the only one that was able to graduate from college. More interesting is the fact that in the entire family, she is the only graduate after her mom as her father did not also go to college.
3. LaChina Robinson has won many awards
Robinson has always been a force in all the things she does. It is thanks to this that she has come to win numerous awards. Some of the awards she has to her name include the following:

4. She is a very tall woman
LaChina Robinson is a woman who by all standards is considered very tall, which was one of the advantages she had when she decided to become a basketball player. She was already over six feet tall when she was 14 years. Today, she has a height of 6 feet 4 inches.
5. LaChina is an inspiration to so many women
Looking at all that she has been able to achieve, LaChina Robinson has become a motivation to many women out there. More than that, she has always found the opportunity to speak to people and encourage them to pursue their dreams. To mentor and train young women of color who have an interest in having a career in sports broadcasting, she co-founded a non-profit foundation known as “Rising Media Stars.”
