The talented football star was born Wéndèleine Thérèse Renard on July 20 1990 in the French island of Martinique. She was brought up in a happy family as the last of four kids. Unfortunately, by the time she was 8 years old, she lost her dad to lung cancer.
Wendie fell in love with football when she was a very little girl. According to her, she would always change the channel to football even when her older sisters were watching a different program and her mother would also sit and watch with her.
